Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ace Tipton kicked off to start the match. Willard Vogel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Cummins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. If Luciano Hale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Galindo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by DC united's Luciano Hale. But to his dismay, Luciano Hale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rodolfo Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bogalusa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Cummins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Rodolfo Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Willard Vogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogalusa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willard Vogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute of the match Jeramy Weston sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Cummins skillfully saved the ball. David Galindo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Luciano Hale sent off a good shot on target. Ace Tipton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. DC united's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marshall Hairston's late challenge caught a DC united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marshall Hairston helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bogalusa FC's Marshall Hairston got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Rodolfo Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bogalusa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Hale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willard Vogel was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Virgilio Cummins made a huge save. If Luciano Hale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Hobbs kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Willard Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 79th minute, Rodolfo Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Cummins was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rodolfo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Cummins having to interfere. Virgilio Cummins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willard Vogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Cummins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willard Vogel in the 92nd minute of the match. Eduardo Arthur hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bogalusa FC's Rich Santiago tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Virgilio Cummins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terence Kelly's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Bogalusa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
