Alfred Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Rapid. Alfred Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devon Lovell in the 14th minute of play. Bill Dawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ari Alston having to interfere. When Reggie Tyson fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chino Hills's protests and gave Reggie Tyson a yellow card for diving instead. Reggie Tyson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ari Alston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Avery in the 33rd minute of the match. F.C. Rapid's Ari Alston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Rapid from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Chino Hills got a freekick which was hit by Foster Vaughan. Alfred Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Lovell in the 37th minute of the match. Bill Dawkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ari Alston having to interfere. The Chino Hills players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C. Rapid were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Avery stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ari Alston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Dawkins in the 52nd minute of play. Ari Alston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Avery in the 54th minute of the match. When Jose Avery came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Chino Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Avery couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, F.C. Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Dawkins came free, but Ari Alston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Archie Egan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to F.C. Rapid getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Archie Egan hit a great ball. Chino Hills's Foster Vaughan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ari Alston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Avery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chino Hills's Alfred Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Lovell in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Lee Keen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Lovell in the 94th minute of play forced Chino Hills's goalkeeper Alfred Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The F.C. Rapid players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
