Alfred Lucas came out of the goal and Tommie Pennington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40th play minutes Tommie Pennington shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Alfred Lucas and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Chino Hills booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Hairston didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Chino Hills's goalkeeper Alfred Lucas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommie Pennington.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chino Hills's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
