The attack was good, but when Deon Alonzo in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 6th minute, Norman Kern made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Hebert. Asante Kototo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Wilber Wong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asante Kototo's Alexander Hebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Moon in the 16th minute of play. Benjamin Reilly was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Deon Alonzo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Deon Alonzo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Deon Alonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Asante Kototo's zone, Norman Kern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Hebert came out of the goal and Norman Kern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bill Hopson lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ALIANZA FC! In the 36th minute, Ace Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Hebert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ace Acevedo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Asante Kototo's Alexander Hebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ace Acevedo in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deon Alonzo was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Hebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan McGowan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Despite being the better team, ALIANZA FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
