Reyes Hanson in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanford Magee, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benjamin Reilly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Burns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanford Magee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dirk Hearn's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Stanford Magee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Hearn in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Giuseppe Moon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Statesboro Impact's Stanford Magee tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Statesboro Impact's zone, Giuseppe Moon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanford Magee came out of the goal and Giuseppe Moon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Reyes Hanson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Statesboro Impact's goalkeeper Stanford Magee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ALIANZA FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Statesboro Impact's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lance Bautista took the corner. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Troy Purcell made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Dirk Hearn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Statesboro Impact's Stanford Magee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Reilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Purcell, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Statesboro Impact defense, Reyes Hanson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanford Magee. The Statesboro Impact fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanford Magee should have stopped the shot. In the 57th match minute, ALIANZA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Bautista to maneuver through the defense. If Giuseppe Moon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanford Magee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Hanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Giuseppe Moon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reyes Hanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ace Acevedo sped through Statesboro Impact's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stanford Magee. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ace Acevedo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanford Magee saved Statesboro Impact from getting behind. Stanford Magee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Dirk Hearn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Giuseppe Moon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanford Magee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ace Acevedo in the 95th minute of play forced Statesboro Impact's goalkeeper Stanford Magee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Moon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
