Steven Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 minutes, Rigoberto Bartlett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roda Soccer and the Bennington players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bennington booed when Roda Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Bartlett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cobi Hoskins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ross Aragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bennington's Ross Aragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Bennington from getting a goal against them. Eric Odell took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Reynolds. Rudolf Reynolds dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Eric Odell came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bennington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Odell couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Reynolds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Bingham in the 26th minute of the match. Eric Odell struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rudolf Reynolds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bennington. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

David Moreland charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Moreland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Roda Soccer got a freekick which was hit by David Moreland. When Giovanni Bingham came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bennington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Bingham couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, C.J. Ali was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roda Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bennington the free kick. Giovanni Bingham was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rudolf Reynolds made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Odell in the 59th minute. Giovanni Bingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Cobi Hoskins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ross Aragon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eric Odell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Reynolds having to interfere. Steven Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71stth minute of the game Cobi Hoskins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bennington's Ross Aragon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bennington's Eric Odell got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Rudolf Reynolds successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roda Soccer's goalkeeper Rudolf Reynolds, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudolf Reynolds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Bingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eric Odell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bennington's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Odell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Reynolds breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Odell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Giovanni Bingham came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bennington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Bingham couldn't finish the play. Steven Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
