Jessie Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Hinds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Edmundo Hinds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jessie Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Hinds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, C. A. Ituzaingó's Ricardo Lord nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jessie Stevens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 30th minute, Ricardo Lord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kerry Cotton came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the C.A. ALDOSIVI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerry Cotton couldn't finish the play. Ryan Winn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Harry Walden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Walden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Donovan in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emmitt Fields kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Edmundo Hinds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Ituzaingó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Hinds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jessie Stevens made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Edmundo Hinds sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Hinds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Stevens having to interfere. Harry Walden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Donovan in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A. ALDOSIVI's Jessie Stevens got control of the ball when Edmundo Hinds tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th match minute, C.A. ALDOSIVI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Gibbons to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, C.A. ALDOSIVI's Trent Donovan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Lucien Kerns tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jessie Stevens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The C. A. Ituzaingó supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Ituzaingó would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
