Royal winners's Bryan Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Del Gillespie in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Calverton Barza Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Eldon McClendon came free, but Jonathon Garland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merlin McGill might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathon Garland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merlin McGill ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Marshall Craven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryan Harman was a little too slow when Bryce Mills got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Royal winners:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calverton Barza Unidos:s goal. Glen Tang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathon Garland having to make a save. Glen Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathon Garland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Merlin McGill had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathon Garland. Calverton Barza Unidos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merlin McGill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Glen Tang in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
