The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Harry Walden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Begay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ezra Hilliard came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Clarendon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezra Hilliard couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heriberto Kimble in the 29th minute of play forced C. A. Ituzaingó's goalkeeper Harry Walden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clarendon AFC's Trent Cooper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Lord in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Patrick Posey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heriberto Kimble charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heriberto Kimble the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Clarendon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Heriberto Kimble. Trent Cooper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Hinds in the 41st minute. C. A. Ituzaingó were furious when Jarrett Petty was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of C. A. Ituzaingó:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clarendon AFC:s goal. Shaun Rojas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 46 minutes, Heriberto Kimble made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. Ituzaingó's Harry Walden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Clarendon AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Hinds to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Dean Begay made a precise shot to the right of Harry Walden. C. A. Ituzaingó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Deshawn Coles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harry Walden. C. A. Ituzaingó's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Dean Begay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Walden. C. A. Ituzaingó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dean Begay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Dean Begay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Harry Walden made a huge save. Dean Begay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Walden having to interfere. Heriberto Kimbles short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Harry Walden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dean Begay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 85th playminute. In the 97th minute, Edmundo Hinds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clarendon AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
