The supporters of Royal winners booed when Santos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Kelley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Eldon McClendon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Oakley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Landers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hal Velez in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Oakley saved Santos AFC from getting behind. If Eldon McClendon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Hal Velez notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Santos AFC's Genaro Oakley. Genaro Oakley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bryan Harman made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Dalton Newell sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Garrett Bristol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Sanford Norman made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dalton Newell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Harman. Royal winners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalton Newell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Royal winners's Bryan Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanford Norman in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sanford Norman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryan Harman was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Hal Velez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Hal Velez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos AFC's Genaro Oakley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Royal winners's Hal Velez got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hal Velez scored 1-5 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Oakley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilton Crowder kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Sanford Norman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryan Harman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in Santos AFC's zone, Eldon McClendon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Oakley came out of the goal and Eldon McClendon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Royal winners booed when Santos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Lynch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merlin McGill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl Lynch kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Oakley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Royal winners's Esteban Landers made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Oakley was left in no man's land by his defense there!
