Zane Blue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Keller having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Ball AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Pina came free, but Milan Keller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Legacy America were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Kerr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Sprague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Kerr in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Omar Kerr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ball AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Kerr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Sprague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 minutes, Sean Pina made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ball AFC's Milan Keller tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Legacy America's Zane Blue got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zane Blue in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milan Keller saved Ball AFC from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Basil Pugh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ball AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Zane Blue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Keller having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Legacy America's goalkeeper Walter Sprague, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ball AFC booed when Legacy America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobi Stinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Basil Pugh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ball AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basil Pugh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Omar Kerr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Kerr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Walter Sprague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cobi Stinson during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Legacy America getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Cobi Stinson hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Ball AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Whitley. Zane Blue might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Milan Keller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zane Blue ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Legacy America walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
