In the 26th minute, Teddy Crowell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Angeles Foxes's Emilio Ferrell got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wellston AFC defense, Emilio Ferrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Mallory. The Wellston AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Mallory should have stopped the shot. 3-0 came in the 38th minute when Emilio Ferrell all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Gabriel Mallory. Los Angeles Foxes's Robin Montgomery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Quinn in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Ferrell was the one to do the kick off. If Emilio Ferrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Rupert Quinn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robin Montgomery. Rupert Quinn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Emilio Ferrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Mallory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alvin Huang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Montgomery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Quinn in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Bass got free with Robin Montgomery in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilio Ferrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Mallory having to interfere. Robin Montgomery was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Bass showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 85 minute of play. Los Angeles Foxes's Robin Montgomery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Quinn in the 88th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Emilio Ferrell put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Mallory. After 95 played minutes Los Angeles Foxes got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Garci. There was no doubt that Los Angeles Foxes were the better team. Los Angeles Foxes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
