Spectators: 7861 (Terracing: 5897, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cason Conner took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Morton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Houston Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Houston Beard stood somewhat misplaced when Cason Conner came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. 9 minutes into the game, Julio Stout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Attalla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA CLIPPERS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Attalla's Julio Stout got a free kick in the 9th minute. Houston Beard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cason Conner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cason Conner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Attalla got a freekick which was hit by Nolan Berry. Wilbur Farr, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the LA CLIPPERS defense, Toby Izturis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geoff Walton. The LA CLIPPERS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geoff Walton should have stopped the shot. Geoff Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toby Izturis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Denver Carter hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Houston Beard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cason Conner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cason Conner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Houston Beard having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandy Craft to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cason Conner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Attalla's zone, Cason Conner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Houston Beard came out of the goal and Cason Conner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Quincy Tillman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA CLIPPERS and the Attalla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quincy Tillman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Cason Conner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Houston Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Attalla got a freekick which was hit by Julio Stout. Cason Conner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Houston Beard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Attalla booed when LA CLIPPERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cason Conner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Cason Conner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Houston Beard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Houston Beard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cason Conner's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Toby Izturis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toby Izturis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Morton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Houston Beard having to interfere. Cason Conner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Houston Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
