The supporters of LA CLIPPERS booed when Wellston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Quinn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Wade Quinones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wade Quinones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Morton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the game, LA CLIPPERS's Cason Conner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Mallory made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Denver Carter fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA CLIPPERS's protests and gave Denver Carter a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes LA CLIPPERS got a freekick which was hit by Denver Carter. Martin Bass could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Geoff Walton made a huge save. If Cason Conner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Morton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Mallory having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match Kurt Belcher sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Mallory skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wade Quinones to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Morton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gabriel Mallory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Cason Conner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA CLIPPERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cason Conner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Wellston AFC's Gabriel Mallory got control of the ball when Julio Morton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rupert Quinn during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julio Morton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brent Wilcox struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gabriel Mallory didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA CLIPPERS. After a rather tough play, Wellston AFC's Stacy Hatch got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute of the match Wilbur Farr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Mallory skillfully saved the ball. Brent Wilcox hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, LA CLIPPERS's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Bass came free, but Geoff Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gabriel Mallory managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when LA CLIPPERS's Julio Morton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. LA CLIPPERS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
