Brent Wilcox charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brent Wilcox the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brent Wilcox kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Legacy America's Sean Pina in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA CLIPPERS's goalie prevented a goal. 7 minutes into the game, Cason Conner lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Walter Sprague. Zane Blue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, LA CLIPPERS's Cason Conner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Cason Conner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LA CLIPPERS's Denver Carter got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jerome Vega hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, LA CLIPPERS's Terence Hargrove got a free kick in the 24th minute. Zane Blue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Geoff Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Denver Carter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA CLIPPERS and the Legacy America players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes LA CLIPPERS got a freekick which was hit by Denver Carter. After having played for 28 minutes, Zane Blue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legacy America's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zane Blue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Legacy America's Walter Sprague got control of the ball when Julio Morton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Pina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoff Walton having to interfere. Sean Pina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Geoff Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cason Conner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Sprague having to interfere. Julio Morton struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Walter Sprague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA CLIPPERS. Cason Conner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Walter Sprague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes, LA CLIPPERS's Kurt Belcher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walter Sprague came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA CLIPPERS reached it.
The wind increased when Cason Conner made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Cason Conner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Sprague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cason Conner struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Walter Sprague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA CLIPPERS. Walter Sprague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Morton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Julio Morton came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the LA CLIPPERS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Morton couldn't finish the play. Julio Morton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LA CLIPPERS's Cason Conner got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of LA CLIPPERS booed when Legacy America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobi Stinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cason Conner scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Sprague, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Morton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Sprague having to interfere. Sean Pina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Geoff Walton made a huge save. Zane Blue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Geoff Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cason Conner in the 89th minute of play forced Legacy America's goalkeeper Walter Sprague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Zane Blue recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geoff Walton. Zane Blue showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. LA CLIPPERS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
