After 8 minutes, Basil Pugh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ball AFC and the Dark Tide players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose McNair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Keller having to interfere. Milan Keller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Varner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ball AFC's Basil Pugh got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee ordered Basil Pugh off the ground. A collision led to Ball AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Basil Pugh hit a great ball. Milan Keller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Varner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jackson Woodward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Kerr in the 25th minute of play. Jose McNair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jose McNair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Perry Varner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Keller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milan Keller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Varner in the 34th minute of the match. If Omar Kerr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Kerr took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jackson Woodward. Jackson Woodward dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 43 played minutes Ball AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Priest. In the 46th minute of the match Dark Tide got a corner. Ball AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mitchell Alexander ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mitchell Alexander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Milan Keller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Kerr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Kerr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincent Carrey hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Omar Kerr struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jackson Woodward didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ball AFC. In the 59th minute, Omar Kerr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Carrey hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Jose McNair notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ball AFC's Milan Keller. Milan Keller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Perry Varner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernardo Whitley fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ball AFC's protests and gave Bernardo Whitley a yellow card for diving instead. Milan Keller came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Tide's Perry Varner. But to his dismay, Perry Varner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dark Tide's Jackson Woodward proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Tide from getting a goal against them. Omar Kerr kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Dark Tide players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
