Sandy Craft showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alonzo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Attalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Montgomery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles Foxes's Alvin Huang got a free kick in the 21st minute. Los Angeles Foxes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sandy Craft 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Gaspar Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Houston Beard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Lyle Starr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Montgomery was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Attalla getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Julio Stout hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandy Craft to make the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Emilio Ferrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Angeles Foxes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Ferrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gaspar Garci came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Los Angeles Foxes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Garci couldn't finish the play. Robin Montgomery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Stout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Emilio Ferrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Angeles Foxes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Ferrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Gaspar Garci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emilio Ferrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Gaspar Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Ferrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Houston Beard having to interfere.
