Reed Pierce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 21 minutes on the clock, Isidro Farr commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Heroes From Yerevan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River Poker:s goal. When Reed Pierce came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Heroes From Yerevan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reed Pierce couldn't finish the play. Reed Pierce struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Garth Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heroes From Yerevan. Kory Matlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gary Sanderson in the 32nd minute of the match. Garth Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sid Gardner got free with Kory Matlock in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kory Matlock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gary Sanderson's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. When Sid Gardner came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the River Poker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Gardner couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Reed Pierce made the kick off in the second half. Cruz Steele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Reed Pierce came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Heroes From Yerevan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reed Pierce couldn't finish the play. Garth Gomez came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Heroes From Yerevan's Reed Pierce. But to his dismay, Reed Pierce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 64th match minute, River Poker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jospeh Isaac to maneuver through the defense. Kory Matlock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Gardner in the 66th minute of play. Sid Gardner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reed Pierce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garth Gomez having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Gary Sanderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Poker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gary Sanderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, River Poker's Sid Gardner made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kory Matlock was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kory Matlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Gardner in the 82nd minute of the match. Gary Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kory Matlock having to interfere. Heroes From Yerevan's Kory Matlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sid Gardner in the 94th minute of play. Heroes From Yerevan's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because River Poker had won, even though Heroes From Yerevan had held more of the ball.
