Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gary Sanderson made the kick off and thus started the match. Erik Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Sanderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Erik Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Sanderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Cabrera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isaiah Lucero. After 11 played minutes Waialua got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Reeder. After some careless play in the Waialua defense, Sid Gardner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. The Waialua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Cabrera should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute of the match, Gary Sanderson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Cabrera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Garth Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Singer in the 23rd minute of play. Sid Gardner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Erik Cabrera made a huge save. Erik Cabrera made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sid Gardner sent off a good shot on target. Rich Lawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garth Gomez having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match Earl Strange sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garth Gomez skillfully saved the ball. Rocky Shirley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Garth Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garth Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rich Lawson in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, one of River Poker:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Poker. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Waialua. Isaiah Cotton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Garth Gomez. 1-2. The River Poker players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Waialua were winning 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gary Sanderson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rocky Shirley kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Erik Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Gardner in the 64th minute of play. Erik Cabrera came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by River Poker's Sid Gardner. But to his dismay, Sid Gardner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, River Poker's Jospeh Isaac got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jonah Crozier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sid Gardner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, River Poker's Edgar Bland got a free kick in the 80th minute. Garth Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaiah Cotton in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th minute Gary Sanderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rich Lawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rich Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waialua were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
