In the 2nd match minute, Motor City Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Flood to maneuver through the defense. Tyrese Rosales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Cameron having to interfere. Otto Bocanegra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Stoddard having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Tyrell Ackerman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tod Cameron to make any attempt to save it. Motor City Football Club's Tod Cameron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Motor City Football Club from getting a goal against them. Tod Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Barcelona's Tyrell Ackerman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tod Cameron. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Motor City Football Club's Otto Bocanegra got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Barcelona's Wilton Stoddard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tod Harrison in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Motor City Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Hatcher. Donovan Rowland didn't quite understand what happened when in the 37 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Tyrese Rosales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tod Cameron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tod Harrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motor City Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Harrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Stoddard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyrell Ackerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tyrell Ackerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrese Rosales struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Tod Cameron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. In the 65th minute, Motor City Football Club's Tod Harrison dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Tyrell Ackerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Bocanegra scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilton Stoddard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Tyrell Ackerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tod Cameron was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the game, FC Barcelona's Tyrese Rosales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tod Cameron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Christopher Flood kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Tyrese Rosales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tod Cameron was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 91 played minutes Motor City Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Sterling Ramey. After some careless play in the Motor City Football Club defense, Tyrell Ackerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tod Cameron. The Motor City Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tod Cameron should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Motor City Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Barcelona.
