Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tod Harrison kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jed Vera during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jed Vera kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Tod Cameron came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Arslanian FC's Ronny McRae. But to his dismay, Ronny McRae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Motor City Football Club booed when Arslanian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jed Vera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arslanian FC's Ray Jacobsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuel Villegas, made in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Thurman Turner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arslanian FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motor City Football Club the free kick. Thurman Turner kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Tod Harrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Bocanegra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lucero Antoine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny McRae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Willie Knapp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Arslanian FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jed Vera hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thurman Turner to make the kick off. Thurman Turner hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute, Arslanian FC's Thurman Turner fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Tod Cameron was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Thurman Turner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tod Cameron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Arslanian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sterling Ramey came free, but Lucero Antoine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arslanian FC's Ronny McRae got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronny McRae blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tod Cameron having to make a save. After having played for 79 minutes, Willie Knapp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arslanian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willie Knapp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronny McRae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tod Cameron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Motor City Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tod Cameron should have stopped the shot. Arslanian FC played a much better game than Motor City Football Club and deserved their victory. The Motor City Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
