The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chase McCall in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregg Ruth saved Landfair FC from getting behind. Chase McCall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregg Ruth came out and tried to block the shot, but Chase McCall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Gregg Ruth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derek Hanna in the 11th minute. If Sydney Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chase McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Ruth having to interfere. Chris Salas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickey Mock in the 19th minute of play. Doug Lane kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Landfair FC's Vicente Hardy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chris Salas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the NASAMS defense, Vicente Hardy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chris Salas. The NASAMS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chris Salas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to NASAMS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Derek Hanna hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landfair FC's goalkeeper Gregg Ruth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregg Ruth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chase McCall, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sydney Chen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregg Ruth having to make a save. Chase McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregg Ruth having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Chase McCall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

52 minutes into the match, Landfair FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Chen came free, but Gregg Ruth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quintin Cao Xiao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Salas having to interfere. After 59 played minutes NASAMS got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Chen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kirby Jeffers during the 64th minute. NASAMS's supporters rose to their feet, but Chase McCall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregg Ruth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NASAMS's Chase McCall got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Landfair FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over NASAMS's much stronger midfield.
