Alfred Russo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Quincy Bonner sent off a good shot on target. Lincoln Root scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Zaragoza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SOFISTIKATED FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Raphael Hammer hit a great ball. The supporters of Somerset booed when SOFISTIKATED FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Ervin Woodall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Zaragoza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Bernal in the 28th minute of play forced Somerset's goalkeeper Alfred Russo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lincoln Root in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Zaragoza saved SOFISTIKATED FC from getting behind. If Casper Epps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lincoln Root fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Zaragoza having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lincoln Root to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Somerset's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Bonilla came free, but Alfred Russo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Russo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Bonner, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Alfred Russo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by SOFISTIKATED FC's Andre Bonilla. But to his dismay, Andre Bonilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lincoln Root could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Max Zaragoza made a huge save. Jon Bernal charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Bernal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SOFISTIKATED FC's Jon Bernal got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOFISTIKATED FC's goalkeeper Max Zaragoza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Max Zaragoza managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Somerset's Lincoln Root fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 72 minutes of play, Somerset's Lincoln Root made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Zaragoza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Somerset's Casper Epps slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Max Zaragoza. That made the score 2-3 after 78 minutes of play. Somerset's Lincoln Root got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ervin Woodall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, SOFISTIKATED FC's Max Zaragoza got control of the ball when Lincoln Root tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Somerset got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Stafford. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lincoln Root got free with Max Zaragoza in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
