Filiberto Sams had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Loren Griffith's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Filiberto Sams didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loren Griffith went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to SOFISTIKATED FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Stewart Mohr hit a great ball. Max Zaragoza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Golden in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Glen Carbon defense, Andre Bonilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Sams. The Glen Carbon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Sams should have stopped the shot. Max Zaragoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Metcalf in the 45th minute of play. Romeo Golden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Max Zaragoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SOFISTIKATED FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Bonilla to strike the kick off in the second half. Quincy Bonner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Filiberto Sams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Carbon's Filiberto Sams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Bonilla in the 65th minute of play. Romeo Golden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Zaragoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Marvin Metcalf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Zaragoza having to interfere. SOFISTIKATED FC's Max Zaragoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Golden in the 84th minute of play. Andre Bonilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Sams having to interfere. Filiberto Sams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Bonilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Quincy Bonner in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
