After a defensive mix-up in SOFISTIKATED FC's zone, Lee Hancock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Zaragoza came out of the goal and Lee Hancock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lee Hancock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Max Zaragoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Brownell in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Loren Griffith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOFISTIKATED FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc San Nicolas the free kick. A collision led to SOFISTIKATED FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Loren Griffith hit a great ball. Brady Brownell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Max Zaragoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Bonilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarrod Eubanks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Bonilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Brady Brownell notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SOFISTIKATED FC's Max Zaragoza. Max Zaragoza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SOFISTIKATED FC's Quincy Bonner got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Max Zaragoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee Hancock in the 80th minute of the match.
