Luke Blue made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Catlin AFC's Colin Francis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Cody in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto German prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto German made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Cody in the 19th minute of play. Steven Cody recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerald Dwyer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luke Blue. Marshall Preston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gerald Dwyer made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Blake Haywood mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catlin AFC and the FC Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richie Fortune recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Catlin AFC's Steven Cody fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Gilberto German stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Cody's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steven Cody to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marshall Preston in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerald Dwyer saved Catlin AFC from getting behind. In the 76th match minute, Catlin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Francis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Marshall Preston managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Preston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Dwyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Errol May kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Catlin AFC's attentive Colin Francis managed to snatch the ball when Cesar Welsh made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the game, Cesar Welsh threw the ball into play from the sideline. Catlin AFC's Colin Francis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Luke Blue fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Luke Blue a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Luke Blue got a free kick in the 86th minute. DeMarcus Tanner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto German having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Errol May mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the Catlin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luke Blue made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Catlin AFC's Colin Francis. Gilberto German showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colin Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Fortune in the 96th minute of play forced Catlin AFC's goalkeeper Gerald Dwyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
