Olin Payne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bennett Stroud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute, Ramon Goff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 10 in the game by Myles Pacheco from a close distance when the talented Lloyd Spence managed to make a qualified save. Citizens FC's players were relieved. A collision led to ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Art Chung hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ's zone, Eddie Richey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew Sullivan came out of the goal and Eddie Richey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Bennett Stroud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Citizens FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bennett Stroud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew Sullivan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Conklin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Freddy Stone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drew Sullivan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bennett Stroud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Myles Pacheco got free with Lloyd Spence in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lloyd Spence made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marlon Hendricks in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd match minute, Citizens FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilbur Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Stone in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drew Sullivan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Stone to make the kick off. Eddie Richey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Drew Sullivan having to make a save. Eddie Richey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Sullivan having to interfere. A collision led to Citizens FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wilbur Miranda hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Bruce Conklin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lloyd Spence showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Freddy Stone took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Drew Sullivan to make any attempt to save it. Drew Sullivan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennett Stroud in the 76th minute of the match. When Citizens FC's Freddy Stone in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Freddy Stone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ's Drew Sullivan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Eddie Richey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Citizens FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Richey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew Sullivan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Stone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Drew Sullivan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ's Drew Sullivan got control of the ball when Eddie Richey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lloyd Spence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Citizens FC booed when ♣ÅrancioneÉxercitus♣ ¥ φ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Conklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Stone in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Drew Sullivan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Citizens FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
