Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Clint Charles kicked off to start the match. Gerald Bearden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Kaplan in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cape Cod FC's Leonard Sanders got a free kick in the 8th minute. Clint Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rudolph Dugan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny King hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Real Madrid FC's Emmitt Cardenas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cape Cod FC. In the 20th minute, Waldo Bush hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damien Drake who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Gerald Bearden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Terrell in the 25th minute of play forced Cape Cod FC's goalkeeper Rudolph Dugan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Madrid FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Real Madrid FC's Dennis Terrell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute Clint Charles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Dugan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cape Cod FC's zone, Clint Charles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolph Dugan came out of the goal and Clint Charles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clint Charles during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Real Madrid FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Clint Charles hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Real Madrid FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldo Bush. In the 42nd minute of the match Kenny King shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerald Bearden showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's Dennis Terrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolph Dugan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Gerald Bearden successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dennis Terrell scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudolph Dugan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Kaplan made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Kurt Kaplan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerald Bearden was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Kaplan in the 68th minute of play forced Real Madrid FC's goalkeeper Gerald Bearden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clint Charles ran back to his position shaking his head. Cape Cod FC's Kurt Kaplan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Kaplan in the 94th minute of play forced Real Madrid FC's goalkeeper Gerald Bearden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Zamora came free, but Gerald Bearden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 104th minute Damien Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Bearden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cape Cod FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Madrid FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Madrid FC.
