With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Stone in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Curt Barnard saved Pelham from getting behind. Eric Flood kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanley Bragg during the 9th minute. Pelham's Curt Barnard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pelham from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Citizens FC's Santiago Kiser got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Eric Flood shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lloyd Spence showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Santiago Kiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelham's Curt Barnard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Kiser in the 21st minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Citizens FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonah Crum came free, but Lloyd Spence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddie Richey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Curt Barnard made a huge save. Citizens FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Pelham's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marvin Tran took the corner. In the 33rd match minute, Citizens FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilbur Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Citizens FC's Wilbur Miranda fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Curt Barnard was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Eddie Richey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Barnard having to interfere. Freddy Stone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Stone's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Curt Barnard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hector Hooks charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Hooks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pelham getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hector Hooks hit a great ball. Eddie Richey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Barnard having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Stone was the one to do the kick off. Citizens FC's Lloyd Spence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Zapata in the 52nd minute of play. With 54 minutes on the clock, Eric Flood commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pelham! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Citizens FC. Marvin Tran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Curt Barnard. 1-0. Stanley Bragg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Richey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bennett Stroud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pelham's zone, Eddie Richey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Curt Barnard came out of the goal and Eddie Richey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curt Barnard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Richey went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Eddie Richey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Citizens FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Curt Barnard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Richey, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Eddie Richey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Stone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Curt Barnard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Eddie Richey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Barnard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Lloyd Spence managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Pelham's Stanley Bragg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilbur Miranda hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Curt Barnard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennett Stroud in the 97th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Stone in the 98th minute of play forced Pelham's goalkeeper Curt Barnard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marc Buckner fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelham's protests and gave Marc Buckner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th match minute, Pelham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Buckner to maneuver through the defense. Citizens FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
