Spectators: 5013 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1012, VIP seats: 0) Real Madrid FC's Clint Charles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Raul Douglas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pelham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid FC the free kick. After 4 played minutes Pelham got a freekick which was hit by Raul Douglas. After a rather tough play, Pelham's Jonah Crum got a free kick in the 6th minute. Dennis Terrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Stanley Bragg could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Gerald Bearden however easily saved by the left post. If Dennis Terrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clint Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Curt Barnard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerald Bearden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Zapata in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Terrell in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Curt Barnard saved Pelham from getting behind. Clint Charles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curt Barnard having to interfere. Stanley Bragg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gerald Bearden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Real Madrid FC's Dennis Terrell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Curt Barnard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pelham's Curt Barnard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Charles in the 34th minute of play. Dennis Terrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Curt Barnard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Pelham's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Terrell came free, but Curt Barnard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Denny Zapata made the kick off in the second half. Pelham's Stanley Bragg got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denny Zapata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerald Bearden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Bragg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 61st match minute, Pelham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Hooks to maneuver through the defense. Pelham's Curt Barnard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Charles in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Stanley Bragg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Real Madrid FC's Gerald Bearden. Gerald Bearden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denny Zapata took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerald Bearden. Gerald Bearden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 85 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Zapata came free, but Gerald Bearden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curt Barnard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clint Charles, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Stanley Bragg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Bragg came free, but Gerald Bearden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
