Foster Patterson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Anton Cooke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LV Toros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Cooke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ken Hartman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brad Robles came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Atlanta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brad Robles couldn't finish the play. Brad Robles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Tripp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Tripp was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Atlanta FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dana Countess hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Atlanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Rosenberg came free, but Foster Patterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlanta FC's zone, Logan Rosenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Foster Patterson came out of the goal and Logan Rosenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LV Toros FC's Hector Ritter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Tripp in the 58th minute of play. When LV Toros FC's Logan Rosenberg in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlanta FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Dana Countess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Logan Rosenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Eric Tripp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LV Toros FC's Hector Ritter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlanta FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because LV Toros FC had won, even though Atlanta FC had held more of the ball.
