Tad Dodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Carmona having to interfere. Marco Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Dodson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Victor Dolan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carbondale FC's zone, Elias Snow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Joyner came out of the goal and Elias Snow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carbondale FC's Kenneth Joyner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Snow in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Tad Dodson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carbondale FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tad Dodson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Carmona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ's Arnoldo Tolbert got a free kick in the 69th minute. Marco Carmona was a little too slow when Tad Dodson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-1. When Arnoldo Tolbert fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ's protests and gave Arnoldo Tolbert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carbondale FC booed when ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Tolbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ's Sal Beltran in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
