Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Werner Galindo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Marco Jernigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pacifica AFC the free kick. After 6 played minutes LOL got a freekick which was hit by Marco Jernigan. In the 13th match minute, LOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Engle to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Pacifica AFC got a corner. LOL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudolph Webb ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leonard Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Galindo in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LOL's Marco Jernigan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Leonard Yang acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rudolph Webb. After 21 played minutes LOL got a freekick which was hit by Marco Jernigan. In the 23rdth minute of the game Werner Galindo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOL's Leonard Yang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Werner Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pacifica AFC's protests and gave Werner Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LOL booed when Pacifica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOL's goalkeeper Leonard Yang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, LOL's Brian Clifton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garret Henley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Billy Livingston came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonard Yang could save by the left post. After 40 played minutes LOL got a freekick which was hit by Brian Clifton. In the 45th match minute, LOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Mathews to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Clifton to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pacifica AFC's Billy Livingston got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Clifton in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garret Henley saved Pacifica AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Matson in the 56th minute of play forced LOL's goalkeeper Leonard Yang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of LOL booed when Pacifica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Matson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LOL's zone, Werner Galindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Yang came out of the goal and Werner Galindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LOL's Leonard Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Livingston in the 68th minute of play. When Billy Livingston came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pacifica AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Livingston couldn't finish the play. Leonard Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Livingston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Werner Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leonard Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Livingston in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Pacifica AFC's Werner Galindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Yang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thaddeus Valencia in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Garret Henley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Garret Henley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Clifton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The LOL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
