Spectators: 7674 (Terracing: 5756, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Phil Dudley started the match with the kick off. If Guillermo Dietz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LV Toros FC's Hector Ritter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Dudley in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of LV Toros FC booed when 4th Republic USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Boyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Logan Rosenberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vito Oberle, 1-0. In the 20th minute, 4th Republic USA's Guillermo Dietz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guillermo Dietz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 4th Republic USA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guillermo Dietz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 4th Republic USA! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for LV Toros FC. Brady Lyon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vito Oberle. 2-0. Vito Oberle was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Anton Cooke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anton Cooke really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 31st minute, Brendon Sandoval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4th Republic USA's Phil Dudley got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolf Finch scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Ritter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luke Finney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hector Ritter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendon Sandoval struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hector Ritter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 4th Republic USA. Hector Ritter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Anton Cooke made the kick off in the second half. Rolf Finch had several of the LV Toros FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Hector Ritter as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rolf Finch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Hector Ritter made a huge save. 4th Republic USA's Dexter Baez got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Phil Dudley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hector Ritter. The goal made the score 3-4. If Phil Dudley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Oberle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Rosenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind 4th Republic USA's goalkeeper Vito Oberle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dexter Baez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, 4th Republic USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Sandoval to maneuver through the defense. Vito Oberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brady Lyon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dexter Baez during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, 4th Republic USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dexter Baez to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Rolf Finch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Hector Ritter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 4th Republic USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
