Spectators: 7708 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tad Dodson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th of the match, Tad Dodson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Titus Peoples got in the way and made a wonderful save. Derick Langford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carbondale FC's Tad Dodson in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Starkville's goalie prevented a goal. Kenneth Joyner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Starkville's Mitchell Rutledge made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Joyner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Titus Peoples took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Dodson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Starkville's Titus Peoples proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Starkville from getting a goal against them. Shaun Arredondo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaun Arredondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shaun Arredondo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tad Dodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Peoples having to interfere. Bo Steele hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Titus Peoples made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derick Langford in the 33rd minute. Mitchell Rutledge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth Joyner having to make a save. Titus Peoples showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tad Dodson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Dotson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Titus Peoples showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tad Dodson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Keenan Barth charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keenan Barth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When William Dotson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Starkville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Dotson couldn't finish the play. Mitchell Rutledge took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Joyner. Kenneth Joyner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. William Dotson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Joyner having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Dylan Hetfield was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carbondale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Starkville the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carbondale FC's Dylan Hetfield got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Derick Langford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Starkville's Titus Peoples was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Starkville getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Davis Kohler hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Carbondale FC's Tad Dodson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Titus Peoples narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Titus Peoples made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tad Dodson in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Starkville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corey Uster to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Tad Dodson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Titus Peoples was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
