A collision led to Rey brook FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Len Bush hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mike Burch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kings Beach's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Burch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Len Hatch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Monroe Willingham made the kick off in the second half. Rey brook FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Kings Beach's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roscoe Doty took the corner. Kings Beach's Graham Maurer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Kings Beach from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute Bryon Welch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kings Beach's Graham Maurer got control of the ball when Wyatt Diggs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graham Maurer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryon Welch in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Mike Burch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Len Hatch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wyatt Diggs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Graham Maurer made a huge save. Monroe Willingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
