If Bryon Welch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wyatt Diggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Lions of Quenns defense, Wyatt Diggs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alan Land. The Lions of Quenns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alan Land should have stopped the shot. When Rolando Wang fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rey brook FC's protests and gave Rolando Wang a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wyatt Diggs in the 18th minute of play forced Lions of Quenns's goalkeeper Alan Land to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Wyatt Diggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Land having to interfere. In the 30th minute Wyatt Diggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Land saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Wyatt Diggs made a precise shot to the right of Alan Land. Lions of Quenns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Alan Land made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryon Welch in the 37th minute of play. Wyatt Diggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Bryon Welch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan Land was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Roderick Chappelle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 47th minute, Jeremiah Foster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roderick Chappelle was the one to do the kick off. Len Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roderick Chappelle in the 53rd minute of the match. Wyatt Diggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Land having to interfere. Bryon Welch might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Land. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bryon Welch ran back to his position shaking his head. John Porter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alan Land. Lions of Quenns's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wyatt Diggs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Alan Land when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wyatt Diggs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rey brook FC's Bryon Welch in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lions of Quenns's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryon Welch in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Land prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bryon Welch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes Lions of Quenns got a freekick which was hit by Leroy Madison. If Rolando Wang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Bryon Welch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
