If Wilfred Garza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Knowles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dirk Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus F.C.'s goalkeeper Dirk Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandy Christian got free with Dirk Delaney in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Juventus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilfred Garza came free, but Dirk Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Wilfred Garza made a precise shot to the right of Dirk Delaney. Juventus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Sammy Shaffer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandy Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Delaney having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Lionel Rutherford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Javier Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seth Cassidy during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dirk Delaney came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by New York Towers's Wilfred Garza. But to his dismay, Wilfred Garza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Sandy Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Delaney having to interfere. Juventus F.C.'s Dirk Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfred Garza in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Juventus F.C. defense, Sandy Christian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Delaney. The Juventus F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Delaney should have stopped the shot. Dirk Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandy Christian in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Sandy Christian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dirk Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfred Garza, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 91 minutes into the match, Wilfred Garza notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Juventus F.C.'s Dirk Delaney. Dirk Delaney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juventus F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
