Dennis Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Gaston having to interfere. Boyd Howe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Osvaldo Villalobos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goldendale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Villalobos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boyd Howe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellus Paige, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Goldendale's goal looked a bit too open when Marcellus Paige came free, but Boyd Howe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Reamstown's goalkeeper Steven Gaston had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Wolff. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Bagley during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Reamstown getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Glenn Bagley hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Boyd Howe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcellus Paige showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 51 minute of play. Boyd Howe made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Marcellus Paige sent off a good shot on target. Marcellus Paige received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boyd Howe came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcellus Paige slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Marcellus Paige ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Goldendale booed when Reamstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Urmanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcellus Paige came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Reamstown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcellus Paige couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes, Jaime Wolff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goldendale and the Reamstown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Jaime Wolff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goldendale's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Victor Lugo scored to the left of an out of position Boyd Howe, making the score, 0-3. The Reamstown players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
