Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jeremiah Foster started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in New York Towers's zone, Mickey Nicholas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Martinez came out of the goal and Mickey Nicholas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. King Wallace charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed King Wallace the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. King Wallace kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Jeremiah Foster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jeremiah Foster took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Martinez. Javier Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mickey Nicholas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Martinez saved New York Towers from getting behind. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lions of Quenns's goalkeeper Alan Land, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Lions of Quenns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Bannister to maneuver through the defense. Alan Land showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Garza in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, New York Towers's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremiah Foster came free, but Javier Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jeremiah Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Garza in the 35th minute of play forced Lions of Quenns's goalkeeper Alan Land to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Knowles hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes Lions of Quenns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was King Wallace who took care of the corner kick. New York Towers's King Wallace was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alan Land in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The New York Towers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lions of Quenns were winning 0-2.

If Sandy Christian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremiah Foster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. New York Towers's Javier Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save New York Towers from getting a goal against them. Jeremiah Foster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Javier Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Martinez made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mickey Nicholas sent off a good shot on target. If Jeremiah Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mickey Nicholas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Javier Martinez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 73 minutes into the game, Wendell Ziegler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New York Towers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions of Quenns the free kick. After 73 played minutes New York Towers got a freekick which was hit by Wendell Ziegler. When New York Towers's Wilfred Garza in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lions of Quenns's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lions of Quenns's zone, Sandy Christian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Land came out of the goal and Sandy Christian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandy Christian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alan Land read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Lions of Quenns's goal looked a bit too open when Sandy Christian came free, but Alan Land reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, New York Towers's Rocky Hilton got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Lions of Quenns played a much better game than New York Towers and deserved their victory. The New York Towers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
