Willis Landreth started the match with the kick off. Marlon Dupree hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tomas Delarosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fletcher Steele, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Carlo Yates struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Tomas Delarosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darby. Jonathon Winslow hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Virgilio Espinoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Justin Mosley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Lowery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Willis Landreth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darby's Jonas Lowery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willis Landreth in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Minor's goal looked a bit too open when Fletcher Steele came free, but Tomas Delarosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Lowery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willis Landreth in the 25th minute of the match. Willis Landreth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonas Lowery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Fletcher Steele notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Minor's Tomas Delarosa. Tomas Delarosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, Jonathon Winslow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Lowery. Darby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathon Winslow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Darby's goalkeeper Jonas Lowery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willis Landreth. 38 minutes into the match, Fletcher Steele notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Minor's Tomas Delarosa. Tomas Delarosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the match, Darby's Bernardo Thurston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Delarosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The wind increased when Bernardo Thurston made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Minor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute, Lazaro Merrill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Darby's zone, Jonathon Winslow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Lowery came out of the goal and Jonathon Winslow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Justin Mosley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Lowery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minor's Tomas Delarosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Minor from getting a goal against them. Hugh Page fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Delarosa having to interfere. Tomas Delarosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Thurston in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Jonathon Winslow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Lowery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Virgilio Espinoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Thurston's late challenge caught a Minor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Thurston helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Darby's Bernardo Thurston got a free kick in the 78th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Willis Landreth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Lowery. Darby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willis Landreth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 92 minutes into the game, Fletcher Steele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Tomas Delarosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Sebastian Quinn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Lowery. Darby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Quinn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. A collision led to Darby getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Bernardo Thurston hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Darby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
