Giuseppe Kearney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Smiley in the 18th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Albert Frazier made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Frazier to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Osvaldo Ferrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Ferrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Newman's Osvaldo Ferrell got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CaraSucias booed when Newman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Wolfe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chad Perkins kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Ferrell in the 68th minute of play forced CaraSucias's goalkeeper Eli Putnam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Newman's goalkeeper Giuseppe Kearney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Josh McGuire got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giuseppe Kearney quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Dickens during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albert Frazier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CaraSucias's Eli Putnam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyle Wilhelm in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Troy Stokes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giuseppe Kearney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Mario Smiley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CaraSucias walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
