Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Willis Landreth made the kick off which started today's match. Emanuel Madrid was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Willis Landreth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Willis Landreth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Willis Landreth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Madrid. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Cisneros during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vito Cisneros kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Minor's Jonathon Winslow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Madrid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Quinn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Emanuel Madrid made a huge save. Willis Landreth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Madrid having to interfere. Vince Coles charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vince Coles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC 420's Vince Coles got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Jonathon Winslow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Madrid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Mosley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Madrid having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC 420's zone, Willis Landreth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Madrid came out of the goal and Willis Landreth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willis Landreth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game Willis Landreth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC 420's Emanuel Madrid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allen Drummond to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jonathon Winslow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Madrid was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Willis Landreth struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Emanuel Madrid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minor. 60 minutes into the match, FC 420's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Winslow came free, but Emanuel Madrid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Willis Landreth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minor's supporters rose to their feet, but Willis Landreth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Madrid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vince Coles came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC 420 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Coles couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC 420's zone, Marlon Dupree stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Madrid came out of the goal and Marlon Dupree tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Minor's Willis Landreth got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vince Coles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tomas Delarosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willis Landreth in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Madrid saved FC 420 from getting behind. If Marlon Dupree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Minor's Willis Landreth in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC 420's goalie prevented a goal. Willis Landreth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Willis Landreth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Emanuel Madrid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Sebastian Quinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Marlon Dupree came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Minor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlon Dupree couldn't finish the play. Minor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
