In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind CaraSucias's goalkeeper Eli Putnam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlo Yates struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Eli Putnam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darby. The supporters of CaraSucias booed when Darby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Espinoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Fraziers short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Jonas Lowery to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bernardo Thurston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darby's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Thurston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eli Putnam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 30 minutes, Bernardo Thurston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Thurston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Albert Frazier came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the CaraSucias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Frazier couldn't finish the play. Eli Putnam came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Darby's Bernardo Thurston. But to his dismay, Bernardo Thurston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eli Putnam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Thurston's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Bernardo Thurston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CaraSucias's Eli Putnam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Thurston in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Frazier made a kick off. Bernardo Thurston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eli Putnam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Bernardo Thurston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CaraSucias's Eli Putnam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Lowery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Frazier, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, CaraSucias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tory John to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CaraSucias's zone, Bernardo Thurston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eli Putnam came out of the goal and Bernardo Thurston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fletcher Steele succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 71st playminute. In the 76th minute, one of CaraSucias:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CaraSucias. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Darby. Duncan Ochoa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eli Putnam. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in CaraSucias's zone, Fletcher Steele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eli Putnam came out of the goal and Fletcher Steele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fletcher Steele got free with Eli Putnam in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Bernardo Thurston made a precise shot to the right of Eli Putnam. CaraSucias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Darby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
