Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas Acosta kicked off to start the match. Fletcher Steele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Basil Wray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basil Wray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Thurston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Thurston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Wray having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuba City's goalkeeper Basil Wray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cobi Newcomb hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes, Cobi Newcomb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuba City and the Darby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cuba City's Cobi Newcomb got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Duncan Ochoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basil Wray showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Darby's Bernardo Thurston slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basil Wray. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Bernardo Thurston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Thurston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cuba City's Basil Wray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Thurston in the 38th minute of play. Fletcher Steele scored 3-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basil Wray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Thurston to make the kick off. Jonas Lowery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ervin Herbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Fletcher Steele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basil Wray. Cuba City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fletcher Steele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Virgilio Espinoza kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Douglas Acosta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonas Lowery made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ervin Herbert sent off a good shot on target. Basil Wray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fletcher Steele in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Thurston in the 68th minute of play forced Cuba City's goalkeeper Basil Wray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Darby's Fletcher Steele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basil Wray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Cuba City's goal looked a bit too open when Fletcher Steele came free, but Basil Wray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Yates during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardo Thurston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Basil Wray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ervin Herbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jonas Lowery made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Darell Roth got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonas Lowery quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Darby's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
