In the 12th minute, Albert Frazier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CaraSucias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eli Putnam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nick Vann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Canastota FC's Shane Nunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eli Putnam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CaraSucias's Eli Putnam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save CaraSucias from getting a goal against them. Nick Vann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eli Putnam having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Shane Nunn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eli Putnam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brian Whaley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Frazier in the 40th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Albert Frazier put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Brian Whaley.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Frazier was the one to do the kick off. Eli Putnam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Vann, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Shane Nunn came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Canastota FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Nunn couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CaraSucias getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dana Diaz hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nick Vann in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eli Putnam saved CaraSucias from getting behind. Albert Frazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Brian Whaley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Dana Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Whaley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Smiley in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Smiley got free with Brian Whaley in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tory John charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tory John the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CaraSucias's Tory John got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Albert Frazier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Whaley having to interfere. If Albert Frazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Canastota FC's Shelby Ward got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Frazier in the 96th minute of play forced Canastota FC's goalkeeper Brian Whaley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CaraSucias played a much better game than Canastota FC and deserved their victory. The Canastota FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
