Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Thurston took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brendon London showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Thurston in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Bernardo Thurston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendon London saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Bernardo Thurston notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Saltville's Brendon London. Brendon London was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Lowery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dane Tobin's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Carlo Yates kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Desmond Shipman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Saltville's goalkeeper Brendon London had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fletcher Steele. Darby's Fletcher Steele got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Thurston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brendon London came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Thurston slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Brendon London made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fletcher Steele in the 23rd minute. If Bernardo Thurston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fletcher Steele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon London having to interfere. Darius Kidd charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darius Kidd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Darius Kidd kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fletcher Steele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fletcher Steele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Brendon London tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dane Tobin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Filiberto Coffey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saltville the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Filiberto Coffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Darby's zone, Jed Prather stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Lowery came out of the goal and Jed Prather tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Fletcher Steele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendon London saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Thurston took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendon London. Brendon London dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Fletcher Steele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Brendon London tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fletcher Steele in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brendon London prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Saltville's zone, Bernardo Thurston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendon London came out of the goal and Bernardo Thurston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bernardo Thurston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Thurston succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Fletcher Steele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Brendon London tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Saltville defense, Virgilio Espinoza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendon London. The Saltville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendon London should have stopped the shot. Fletcher Steele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
