Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Allen Drummond got the match started through his kick off. With a left leg Emanuel Madrid saved FC 420 from getting behind. Edmund Bernstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute, Nathaniel Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute of the match Cason McNair shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Madrid showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Myles Delong during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Edmund Bernstein, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emanuel Madrid was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Mobridge AFC's goalkeeper Casper West had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vince Coles. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Bernstein made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC 420's zone, Brady King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Madrid came out of the goal and Brady King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Madrid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Bernstein in the 53rd minute of the match. Edmund Bernstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Madrid having to interfere. Mobridge AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vince Coles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Vince Coles came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC 420 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Coles couldn't finish the play. Brady King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brady King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Madrid having to interfere. When the match was over Mobridge AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC 420 throughout the match.
