Nathaniel Burt succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Abraham McGill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oyster Bay Cove's Sol Simms was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Oyster Bay Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burt came free, but Sol Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Titus Haley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jesse Tomlinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Oyster Bay Cove's Sol Simms got control of the ball when Abraham McGill tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Oyster Bay Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burt came free, but Sol Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rayados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesse Tomlinson should have stopped the shot. After having played for 35 minutes, Nathaniel Burt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathaniel Burt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham McGill got free with Sol Simms in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Vigil kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Alan McNamara kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Tom Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Titus Haley to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Titus Haley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oyster Bay Cove's Sol Simms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burt in the 57th minute of play. Dennis Harper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Tomlinson having to interfere. If Nathaniel Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Harper took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesse Tomlinson. Jesse Tomlinson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, Oyster Bay Cove's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Vigil came free, but Sol Simms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Alonso Owen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oyster Bay Cove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayados the free kick. The supporters of Rayados booed when Oyster Bay Cove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Nathaniel Burt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Simms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham McGill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sol Simms tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sol Simms came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Rayados's Nathaniel Burt. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 95th minute Abraham McGill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Simms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham McGill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sol Simms read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Sol Simms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Burt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
