Zack Edmonds hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Edmundo Seay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roger Boudreaux. Lombriga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Asher Oliver notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of DFW Tejanos's Otis Farrell. Otis Farrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DFW Tejanos's Otis Farrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asher Oliver in the 34th minute of play. Napoleon Kelley hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes, Asher Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lombriga FC and the DFW Tejanos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lombriga FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Asher Oliver hit a great ball. Ahmed Baca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Otis Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Asher Oliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DFW Tejanos's Otis Farrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmed Baca scored 1-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otis Farrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Baca made a kick off. Art Vogt hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ahmed Baca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otis Farrell having to interfere. After 58 played minutes DFW Tejanos got a freekick which was hit by Charlton Bridges. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Asher Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lombriga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Asher Oliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otis Farrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charlton Bridges charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlton Bridges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Napoleon Kelley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Hamilton hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Otis Farrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Baca's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When Charlton Bridges was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Charlton Bridges hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Otis Farrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Baca in the 73rd minute of the match. Ahmed Baca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asher Oliver came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Otis Farrell could save by the left post. Jason Vera kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ahmed Baca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otis Farrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Asher Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otis Farrell having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asher Oliver got free with Otis Farrell in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 97 played minutes DFW Tejanos got a freekick which was hit by Art Vogt. Lombriga FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
